Dr. Kuruvilla: It’s 90% likely its cause of the broken tooth. Especially if its a lisp. Go get the tooth or teeth (in the front) fixed and then see if it continues. If so just tell your dentist.
Can you chew gum with a traditional dental bridge?
Dr. Kuruvilla: Yes if the cement is strong and the teeth are healthy otherwise and well maintained, chewing gum should be no problem. Those gummy bears though may be not the best idea for the bridge.
How many surgical procedures are usually required for an implant procedure?
Dr. Kuruvilla: Generally anywhere from 2 appts for just the implant portion and maybe 1 or 2 more appts for the crown for the implant.
Can fluoride treatment reverse cavities?
Dr. Kuruvilla: Once it’s past the enamel layer, then most likely not. But if just starting signs into the outer surfaces of enamel it can.
Is bleeding gums serious?
Dr. Kuruvilla: If it’s been bleeding for a long time and nothing has been diagnosed, then go see your dentist soon. If it’s serious enough, your medical doctor may have to look for other related types of blood disorders.
What helps sore gums from partial dentures?
Dr. Kuruvilla: Some vaseline may help temporarily but really need to get an adjustment by the dentist who made the dentures in order to receive the easy more permanent solution.
When can you eat after a root canal?
